New version of TSLOPE available .
TAGAsoft is pleased to announce that the beta version of TSLOPE (version 2.0.1) is now available. The new software contains many significant new features and enhancements. The beta version will be free to use for a period of one month,beginning February 1 2011. If you are interested in using TSLOPE, and agree to provide us with feedback on your experience, then use the sign up page to register your interest. We reserve the right to limit the number of beta users.
TAGAsoft and TECHBASE
On May 14, 2010 Ian Brown met with Michael Norred, the owner of TECHBASE International Ltd from Morrison, Colorado. They met in the historic gold mining area of Nevada (Carson City – Virginia City) where Mike is assisting Goldspring with ore reserve modelling and mine planning.
TECHBASE is a very useful tool for generating geological models that can be directly imported into TSLOPE. The TAGAsoft team have used TECHBASE to generate many of the 3D models that have been used as examples on this web site.
A predecessor program, TSLOPE3, was integrated into the TECHBASE suite of programs about 10 years ago.
Mike and Ian had a productive discussion on how TAGAsoft and TECHBASE can work together to further develop an integrated system that will cover the important aspects of geotechnical data management, modelling, and slope stability analysis and slope monitoring.
